Segment 2 - East Rim
Indios Pass to Cerro Rubio
Notes: Much of the rim in this segment is off-limits to public access owing to the easement granted to the Santa Clara Pueblo. It is likely that any trail through this segment would need to drop down into the Valles Caldera Nation Preserve. The possibility of a trail users primitive campground inside the Preserve to support this segment will need to be explored.

Owners/Land Managers: Santa Clara Pueblo owns the Sierra de Toledo at the northeastern corner of the old Baca Location No. 1. The rim is the boundary between Santa Clara and the Valles Caldera National Preserve(VCNP). The Pueblo has an exclusion easement of 1,000 to 3,000 feet on the VCNP side of the boundary and has posted its property and easement against all entry. Santa Fe National Forest, Coyote District, manages the head of Santa Clara Canyon at Indios Pass north of the Pueblo property.
