Land Managers : The Valles Caldera National Preserve (VCNP) manages the north half of the rim from State HWY 4 to the knoll just east of Rabbit Mountain (Knoll 9945) and the whole of Rabbit Mountain. Bandelier National Monument manages the south half of the rim from State HWY 4 to the summit of Knoll 9945.
